D.C. Jury Awards $1M to Climate Scientist Michael Mann for Right-Wing Smear Campaign

A jury in Washington, D.C., has awarded $1 million to the climate
scientist Michael Mann, who had sued two right-wing critics for
defamation. In a statement, Mann said, "I hope this verdict sends a
