Lawmakers Introduce Second Impeachment Motion Against South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol

In South Korea, a second motion to impeach President Yoon Suk Yeol was
submitted to the parliament today over Yoon's declaration of martial law
on December 3. Yoon was forced to reverse the order just six hours later
amid widespread outrage and protest. An earlier impeachment motion
failed to remove Yoon after much of his ruling People Power Party
boycotted the vote. Street protests demanding Yoon's removal are
continuing.
