Second Memphis Officer Pleads Guilty in Police Killing of Tyre Nichols

In Tennessee, a second former Memphis police officer has pleaded guilty
in the police killing of Tyre Nichols, a 29-year-old Black father who
died after a brutal police beating. The former officer, Emmitt Martin,
pleaded guilty to federal civil rights violations and could face up to
40 years in prison.
