Conservative Group Sues West Point over Affirmative Action Policy

West Point is being sued over the military academy's race-based
admissions policies. The lawsuit is spearheaded by the same
anti-affirmative action group that sued Harvard and the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The conservative Students for Fair
Admissions won that landmark case before the U.S. Supreme Court in June,
gutting race-conscious admissions policies at colleges and universities
nationwide, but the ruling excluded military academies.
