Hotline Workers at Nat'l Eating Disorder Association Are Being Replaced by Chatbot

Fears are growing around AI's threats to the workforce. Starting
tomorrow, June 1, hotline operators at the National Eating Disorders
Association are scheduled to be replaced by a "wellness chatbot" named
Tessa. Workers say executives at the organization moved to fire them and
replace them with AI in retaliation for unionizing.
