Canada Added 431,000 Immigrants as New Permanent Residents in 2022

In other immigration news, Canada added a record 431,000 new permanent
residents last year. Immigrant residents make up nearly all of Canada's
labor force growth. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government is
seeking to add half a million new permanent residents in 2025.
