Mike Pence Subpoenaed in Jan. 6 Probe by Special Counsel Jack Smith

Former Vice President Mike Pence has received a legal summons from Jack
Smith, the special counsel overseeing criminal investigations into
former President Trump. The subpoena reportedly seeks documents and
testimony related to Trump's bid to overturn his defeat in the 2020
presidential election, culminating in the January 6 attack on the
Capitol. It's not clear whether Pence will comply with the subpoena or
if he'll invoke claims of executive privilege.
