Scorching Temperatures Drive Deaths and Illnesses in Japan, South Korea

In Japan, the Tokyo Medical Examiner's Office says 73 people died last
month of heat-related illnesses, while in South Korea, the government
reports at least 23 heat-related deaths since May. This week, hundreds
of participants at the 25th World Scout Jamboree have fallen ill from
heat exhaustion, with some 400 cases reported on Tuesday evening alone.
