U.S. Intelligence Predicts Ukraine Counteroffensive Will Fall Short

An assessment by U.S. intelligence predicts that Ukraine's
counteroffensive will fail to reach the key southeastern city of
Melitopol. The Washington Post reported the news, which would mean
Ukraine will not achieve its goal of cutting off Russia's land bridge to
Crimea. It could also renew debate within the international community
over the billions of dollars in military assistance being sent to
Ukraine to fight Russia's invasion.
