Colorado Enshrines Protections for Abortions and Gender-Affirming Care

Colorado's Democratic Governor Jared Polis has signed three bills into
law protecting access to abortion and gender-affirming care, upholding
what he called Colorado's reputation as a beacon of freedom and choice.
Among other things, the measures shield people who receive, provide or
assist in abortions or gender-affirming care from criminal prosecution
or lawsuits in other states where they are outlawed.
