Trump Supporter Sentenced to 7+ Years for Assaulting D.C. Officer on Jan. 6

A supporter of Donald Trump from Iowa named Kyle Young has been
sentenced to more than seven years in prison for assaulting Washington,
D.C., police officer Mike Fanone during the January 6 insurrection.

In related news, the House Select Committee to Investigate the January
6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol has postponed a public hearing scheduled
for today due to the hurricane in Florida.
