Liz Truss Scraps Plans to Lower Taxes for Rich Following Mass Protests

British Prime Minister Liz Truss has scrapped a plan to lower taxes for
Britain's highest earners. The proposal, which was announced just 10
days ago, sparked protests and a warning from the International Monetary
Fund. On Sunday, hundreds of thousands of people in Britain took to the
streets in a protest organized by the Enough Is Enough campaign.

Laura Dickinson: "A lot of workers and a lot of people that are working
in this country have had enough. They've had enough of not working full
time and not being able to pay their energy bills and not being able to
put food on the table."
