Fifty-six people remain missing. Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez said the equivalent of one month of rain fell in just eight hours. In Central America, Tropical Storm Julia brought intense rainfall to regions already saturated by weeks of heavy rains, triggering flooding and mudslides that killed at least 28 people in Guatemala and El Salvador. .
