SF Archbishop Bars Pelosi from Receiving Communion for Supporting Abortion Rights

The conservative archbishop of the Catholic Church in San Francisco has
barred House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from receiving Communion until she
"publicly repudiates" her support for abortion. Archbishop Salvatore
Cordileone said Pelosi must first confess and receive absolution to what
he called a "grave sin."
