U.K. Conservatives to Hold Vote of No Confidence in Prime Minister Boris Johnson

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is facing a vote of no confidence
today by his own Conservative Party, after dozens of Tory members of
Parliament signaled they will seek his ouster. Johnson recently became
the first British leader to be sanctioned for breaking the law while in
office. In 2020, Johnson repeatedly attended parties held at 10 Downing
Street in violation of his own COVID lockdown orders.
