California Set to Grant Medicaid to All Undocumented Immigrants 
----------------------------------------------------------------

California is set to become the first state to grant all undocumented
immigrants access to state-subsidized health insurance. Governor Gavin
Newsom announced Sunday that a budget deal had been struck with
California's Legislature including an expansion to the state's Medicare
that could expand coverage to hundreds of thousands of low-income,
undocumented adults between the ages of 26 and 49. California already
provided state Medicare to undocumented children, adults under the age
of 26, and 50 years and older.
