Texas Supreme Court Allows Century-Old Abortion Law to Take Effect

In Texas, the state Supreme Court ruled Friday that a century-old law
banning abortions can take effect, following the U.S. Supreme Court's
landmark decision striking down Roe v. Wade. The Texas ruling means
anyone providing an abortion could face lawsuits and financial
penalties. Whole Women's Health has since suspended abortion care at its
clinics across Texas.
