Arizona Judge Blocks Law Classifying Fetuses and Embryos as People

A judge has blocked the enforcement of an Arizona statute classifying
fetuses, embryos and fertilized eggs as people, which would have
criminalized abortion across the state. This comes as Arizonans brace
for the imminent activation of a 15-week abortion ban that Republican
Governor Doug Ducey signed into law in March.
