750,000 Sign Petition to Strip Tony Blair of Knighthood

Outcry is growing over former Prime Minister Tony Blair becoming a
knight with the highest possible ranking. More than 750,000 people have
signed a petition calling for his knighthood to be rescinded due to his
key support for the 2003 invasion of Iraq. The petition states, "He was
personally responsible for causing the death of countless innocent,
civilian lives and servicemen in various conflicts. For this alone he
should be held accountable for war crimes."
