Julian Assange Marks 1,000th Day Locked Up in Belmarsh High-Security Prison

Today is Julian Assange's 1,000th day locked up in the Belmarsh
high-security prison in London. Supporters of the Wiki Leaks founder are
expected to rally outside the prison demanding his release and to oppose
U.S. plans to extradite him for exposing U.S. war crimes in Iraq and
Afghanistan.
