Canadian Truckers Shut Down Bridge Linking to U.S. as "Freedom Convoy" Grows

Canadian truck drivers protesting COVID restrictions and vaccine
mandates temporarily shut down traffic on a bridge linking Canada with
the U.S. city of Detroit Tuesday. The action sparked concerns over
supply chains for the auto industry if protests continue to grow. The
mayor of Ottawa on Sunday declared a state of emergency over the
so-called Freedom Convoy, whose organizers have been linked to far-right
and neo-Nazi movements. Meanwhile, plans for a similar convoy in the
