Thai Court Suspends Prime Minister over Term Limit Dispute

In Thailand, the Constitutional Court has suspended Prime Minister
Prayuth Chan-ocha from official duties as it reviews a petition
challenging the legality of his eight-year term limit. The petition was
filed by Thailand's leading opposition party, arguing his time spent as
head of a military government after he staged a coup in 2014 should
count toward his constitutionally stipulated term as prime minister.
