Climate Activist Dies After Setting Himself on Fire in Front of Supreme Court on Earth Day

A Colorado man has died after setting himself on fire on Earth Day in
front of the U.S. Supreme Court. Wynn Bruce was a 50-year-old Buddhist
who lived in Boulder, Colorado. His friend, the climate scientist and
Buddhist monk Kritee Kanko, wrote on Twitter, "This act is not suicide.
This is a deeply fearless act of compassion to bring attention to
climate crisis."
