Netherlands' Largest Pension Fund to Divest from Fossil Fuels

In the Netherlands, Dutch pension fund giant ABP says it will divest
more than $17 billion in assets from fossil fuel companies. The
announcement came ahead of the COP26 U.N. climate summit, which opens
next week in Glasgow. ABP said as recently as June that it would keep
its fossil fuel investments, but reversed course amid widespread
protests and legal challenges.
