Sudanese Military Coup Leader Sworn In Amid Ongoing Protests

In Sudan, army chief General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan has been sworn in to
head a new governing council after he led a coup two weeks ago to oust
Sudan's civilian-led government. The new governing council includes no
civilian members from the previous government. Protesters responded to
the news by blocking roads and burning tires in the capital Khartoum.
