Texas and Ohio Republicans Advance Bills to Make It Harder to Vote

The Texas House of Representatives early this morning passed a
Republican-backed voter suppression bill after an all-night session. The
House bill will have to be reconciled with a Senate bill before heading
to the desk of Republican Governor Greg Abbott, who has signaled he'll
sign the legislation.

Meanwhile, Republicans in Ohio have introduced a bill that would put
severe restrictions on ballot drop boxes and absentee voting.
