Suicide Bomber Kills at Least 21 People as Violence Surges in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, a suicide attacker detonated a truck bomb in the eastern
province of Logar on Friday, killing at least 21 people and injuring
scores of others. The attack targeted a government-run guest house for
students. There was no claim of responsibility, but Afghanistan's
Interior Ministry blamed the Taliban.
