Oregon State Rep. Facing Charges for Allowing Far-Right Mob to Enter State Capitol in December

Oregon Republican state Representative Mike Nearman, who opened the
doors of the state Capitol to far-right protesters in December, is
facing criminal charges. The far-right mob, who were calling for an end
to public health restrictions aimed at slowing the spread of COVID,
attacked security officers with chemical sprays and assaulted a number
of journalists.
