Biden Admin Reinstates Protections for Trans People Seeking Healthcare

The Biden administration announced Monday it's reinstating
discrimination protections for transgender people accessing healthcare,
reversing an anti-trans Trump-era policy. The move prohibits healthcare
providers that receive federal funding from discriminating against
people based on their gender identity or sexual orientation - extending
from an anti-discrimination clause that is already included in the
Affordable Care Act.
