Death Toll Reaches 11 in Florida Condo Collapse, with 150 Still Missing

In Florida, hope is fading that search-and-rescue crews will find more
survivors of the Surfside condominium disaster, five days after the
building suddenly collapsed into a massive pile of twisted steel and
rubble. The confirmed death toll has risen to 11, with 150 people still
unaccounted for. CNN reports the Champlain Towers South condo
association was facing assessments for $15 million worth of repairs -
with payments set to begin just one week after the building's sudden
collapse.
