Carl Levin, Michigan Democratic Senator Who Fought Against Wall Street Criminality, Dies at 87

Carl Levin, longtime liberal senator from Michigan, passed away at the
age of 87. He was known for doggedly pursuing tax fraud and going after
Wall Street's financial crimes. Levin also led opposition to the
resolution that granted then-President Bush authority to invade Iraq. He
served from 1979 to 2015.
