South Africa Updates Death Toll from Unrest to at Least 337 People

In South Africa, the death toll in recent anti-government protests has
risen to at least 337 people. Thousands of others have been arrested.
The demonstrations erupted after former President Jacob Zuma began his
15-month jail sentence for refusing to testify in a corruption probe.
They've since focused on grinding poverty and record levels of
unemployment, exacerbated by the pandemic.
