Boy Scouts of America Reach $850 Million Settlement with Survivors of Sexual Abuse

The Boy Scouts of America has reached an $850 million settlement with
tens of thousands of people who were sexually abused as scouts. It's the
largest settlement of a child sexual abuse case in U.S. history. More
than 84,000 people have joined lawsuits against the Boy Scouts, with
claims that sexual abuse was an "unspoken norm" within the organization
since the 1960s.
