Senate Confirms Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretary

The Senate has voted to confirm Janet Yellen to be Treasury secretary,
making her the first woman to ever hold the post. During her
confirmation hearing, the former Federal Reserve chair urged lawmakers
to "act big" on the next COVID-19 relief package.

Janet Yellen: "The smartest thing we can do is act big. In the long run,
I believe the benefits will far outweigh the costs, especially if we
care about helping people who've been struggling for a very long time."
