Georgia's Secretary of State to Probe Trump's Efforts to Overturn 2020 Election

Georgia's Republican secretary of state has opened an inquiry into
Donald Trump's attempts to overturn Joe Biden's election victory in
Georgia. Legal scholars say Trump violated at least three federal and
state election laws with comments like these, made during an hour-long
conference call with Secretary Brad Raffensperger on January 2.

President Donald Trump: "I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one
more than we have, because we won the state."

Following an investigation, Georgia's Republican-controlled state board
of elections will determine whether to refer the case to Georgia's
attorney general for prosecution.
