Omicron Variant Traced to Manhattan Anime Convention Attended by 50,000+
------------------------------------------------------------------------

At least five states have now detected cases of the Omicron coronavirus
variant. Here in New York, Governor Kathy Hochul urged all 53,000 people
who attended a November anime convention in Manhattan to get tested,
after a Minnesota man who traveled to the event was found to have been
infected with Omicron. Other cases have been found in New York,
Colorado, California and Hawaii.
