160 Refugees Drowned Off Coast of Libya over the Weekend

The United Nations is reporting over 160 refugees drowned in two
separate shipwrecks off Libya this past weekend. Some 1,500 refugees
have drowned so far this year, according to the U.N., as people take on
the dangerous route across the Mediterranean Sea seeking safety in
Europe.
