Biden Admin Extends Pause on Federal Student Loan Repayment

The Biden administration extended the pandemic-related freeze on federal
student loan repayments through January 2022. It was set to expire at
the end of September. Some Democrats renewed calls on Biden to use
executive authority to cancel $50,000 of individual student debt.
