Biden Administration Lifts Trump-Era Sanctions on International Criminal Court Officials

The Biden administration has lifted Trump-era sanctions imposed on
International Criminal Court prosecutor Fatou Bensouda and another top
ICC official for the court's investigation into U.S. war crimes in
Afghanistan. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, however, reaffirmed U.S.
opposition to the probe, as well as to the ICC's investigation into
Israeli war crimes in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
