North Carolina Man Shoots Dead Sheriff's Deputies & 2 Relatives

In Boone, North Carolina, a gunman killed two sheriff's deputies, as
well as his mother and stepfather, on Thursday, leading to a 13-hour
standoff that ended with the gunman killing himself. The deputies were
killed while conducting a wellness check after co-workers of the gunman
said he didn't show up to work.
