Sudan Under State of Emergency as Nile River Flooding Sets Records

Sudan has declared a three-month state of emergency after record
rainfall and flooding left dozens of people dead and damaged over
100,000 homes. Climate scientists say global heating is increasing
rainfall during the rainy season and causing the Nile to jump its banks.
