During the tournament, Osaka - who has a Japanese mother and a Haitian American father - donned seven masks, each bearing the name of a Black person who was killed: Breonna Taylor, Elijah Mc Clain, Ahmaud Arbery, Trayvon Martin, George Floyd, Philando Castile and Tamir Rice.
