Muslims Denounce French President for Defending Caricatures of Prophet Muhammad

Muslim communities around the world are denouncing French President
Emmanuel Macron's public backing of caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad,
accusing Macron of attacking Islam. Macron made the comments during a
vigil for a French teacher beheaded outside his school earlier this
month. The teacher had previously shown his students a cartoon of
Muhammad. Protests against Macron have erupted across Bangladesh,
Palestine, Iraq and other predominantly Muslim nations. Meanwhile,
Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait and others are demanding a boycott of French
products.
