Trump Admin to Remove Sudan from U.S. List of Terrorist States
--------------------------------------------------------------

President Trump has announced plans to remove Sudan from the state
sponsors of terrorism list in a move that paves the way for Sudan to
establish diplomatic relations with Israel. The move may also allow
Sudan to relieve its debt through international financial institutions
and court new foreign investment.

In other news from Sudan, the International Criminal Court has begun
talks with officials in Khartoum over arrest warrants for senior
political figures, including former President Omar al-Bashir, who was
overthrown last year after a mass uprising and is wanted by the ICC on
charges of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
