Amazon VP Quits over Retaliatory Firings of Protesting Workers

A top engineer and vice president at Amazon has resigned to protest the
company's recent firing of whistleblowers and warehouse workers who
demonstrated against unsafe working conditions during the pandemic. Tim
Bray described in a blog post what he called a "vein of toxicity running
through the company culture." He went on to write, "I choose neither to
serve nor drink that poison."
