May 28, 2020 House of Representatives Holds First-Ever Remote Vote Amid Coronavirus Pandemic ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In Washington, D.C., the House of Representatives held its first-ever remote vote on Wednesday, with over 70 Democratic lawmakers casting floor votes by proxy as they stayed away from Capitol Hill in order to stop community spread of the coronavirus.
