Thousands Evacuate Catastrophic Flooding in Michigan as Dams Fail

In Michigan, two days of heavy rains led a pair of dams to breach
Tuesday, forcing thousands of residents to pack into shelters despite
statewide remain-at-home orders during the pandemic. Flooding from the
breach left much of the city of Midland, home to more than 40,000
people, under several feet of floodwater.
