At least 1,300 deaths in L.A. have been linked to COVID-19. California State University's president on Tuesday announced plans to cancel most in-person classes during the fall semester, with instruction moved online. With its 23 campuses, Cal State is the largest four-year college system in the United States. In the Southwest, Doctors Without Borders has sent a team of medical workers to the Navajo Nation, where over 100 people have died of COVID-19. It's the first time the humanitarian aid group has deployed inside United States territory. .
