Stocks Tumble as Coronavirus Rattles Global Economy

Stock markets around the world continued to tumble Thursday as fears
grew of a global recession sparked by the coronavirus outbreak. On Wall
Street, the Dow Jones dropped nearly 1,000 points, building on similar
heavy losses in recent days. The yield on the benchmark 10-year Treasury
note sank to a new record low in another sign of a looming recession.
