Activists Demand Release of Aging Prisoners as Coronavirus Spreads
------------------------------------------------------------------

Public health experts, elected officials and advocacy groups are calling
on New York Governor Cuomo to immediately grant clemency to vulnerable
incarcerated people, including the sick and the elderly. This is
prisoners' rights activist Laura Whitehorn.

Laura Whitehorn: "Everyone who has any power at this moment - the
governor has the most power - he could solve this issue immediately
through his clemency powers. He has no limit on whom he can release from
prison."
